Story behind Photos
Lupine
While visiting Isle Haut an island in Penobscot Bay, I met an amazing woman who would become a dear and special friend. Since we shared June birthdays, each year we celebrated the occasion by exploring the Blue Hill area of Maine. There we saw vast expanses of blooming wild lupine plants. I had never seen such a sea of flowers with many shades of color ranging from purple to pink to white. What a fabulous time I had enjoying her company, photographing and cutting some bouquets to take with us. Later as I paused to open the barn door with a bucket full of lupines in hand, I thought “thats pretty cool”. I grabbed my camera and Lupine Bucket images were taken.
These cards are great for any occasion but especially for birthdays, friendship and healing as well as for sympathy.
